Lately, Samsung has been producing some great compact cameras. I have tested the Canon cameras against the Samsung cameras and have been amazed at the differences.
Samsung has some really great quality cameras with metal build, amoled high resolution 3.0 display screens, optical stabilization / digital stabilization, light-weight, slim and manual controls including manual focus control.
Canon compacts produce soft edges in the frame of the picture image. Samsung on the other hand produce a crisper and more vivid image quality.
Over all, my needs are best suited with Samsung cameras until Canon gets it together. Top choices so far are the Samsung TL320 / WB1000 and Samsung TL350 / WB2000.
